17 August 1942 | A transport of 1,000 Jews deported from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen in German-occupied #Belgium arrived at #Auschwitz. After the arrival selection 157 men & 205 women were registered.

638 people were murdered in gas chambers.
Among them was Henri Herscovici. He was 6.
