Can't play on steamdeck.
Can't remote connect to pc.
Can't use xbox1 controller.
Can't use xbox360 controller in bluetooth mode.
It's a shame as the game feels real good on controller.
Why does SpaceEngies have such painful controller support?
I don't mean like in game. The UI for the controller is fantastic. I mean, why does it ONLY work with a WIRED 360 controller?
Let’s check out the rabbit’s cute yet focused jump! I also brought all the current characters together for a big group photo—it’s actually pretty lively!😆😆😆

Another SE mod uploaded. This one is the simplest so far, though it was really tough to figure out. So many gotchas.
Simply put, fly inside a SafeZone, get repairs.
Good for an economy focuses play style.

The next thing I'm trying to address in Space Engineers with my modding nonsense is repairs.
I feel like the game really discourages you from getting into fights. I'd be like having to send your Street Fighter to a hospital to heal for six months after every fight.
@lenuell_zelren There's a very exciting problem with the game where you just have infinite resources.
There's no reason to build. No reason to explore.
This puts a carrot infinite of you
I'm so very close to finishing my second ever Space Engineers mod. This one is far less flashy but it addresses a problem I've had with the game for a long time.
Getting the player to engage with Economy and Combat instead of staying home all day.
There's so many mods that add overpowered blocks and weapons. Toss a Rare or Epic level Token on it. Now it becomes a coveted unlock as compared to unbalanced nonsense.
I think Assertive Loot does something similar with static upgrades.
This is done by adding non-craftable Tokens that can be found and or bought. The player can then choose which recipes they want to lock behind the need of one of these Tokens.
The Contact update showed how powerful this method can be with the Prototech components.
