@TADCextremist That's one of the reasons why I find the ending so unsatisfying. Nothing ever mattered.
They had already accepted the fact of staying there forever before Caine went crazy in ep8.
Trying to replicate those weird european animated movies and live action remakes from early 2010s it's a bold choice for art direction but I gotta respect the hustle.
This would've been so cool! There's a different in talking to girls than talking to boys. The sweat personal talk wouldn't work with Jax, you need to be firmer and direct to get to him, I believe. Pomni did that and kinda cracked him. That would also help us see Kinger's regrets.
Gigantic missed opportunity for the two male characters to have an actual heart to heart instead of barely even interacting whatsoever
(This took way longer to draw than i thought at first)
Looking at Digital Circus OCs, these are the ones that I find the best. They are creative, respects the theme and actually look like they could be from the show.
Authors in order: by UrOnlyDrPepper, lilroundpumpkin, [sadly I was not able to find the author of this one] & starteas
@WhitePrideDude I still maintain that the Gravity Falls formula works well for this type of show. However, if the plan was to keep it short from the start, I think something lighter would have been better. I think the fact that they tells us "this is it, it's over" is what's disappointing.
Nah, if I had written the series, I would've made Jax, Kaufmo, and Ribbit the main characters, and it would have been some kind of RomCom or something. Everyone would have hated it, and maybe it wouldn't have been so popular.
@Pomnifydigital I completely agree with literally everything you said and I've been saying it since they got to ep7 and nothing happened, or it seemed like it. Honestly you're a better writer than the people who made the show because this slideshow was more of a functional story than the series.
@WhitePrideDude Yes, me too. I'd probably use Gravity Falls as an example, which started with a similar formula, goofy, and gradually became more serious as the seasons progressed (each one had its own vibe). But that's the point: SEASONS, not just 9 episodes. I guess it's the best for lore.
Pomni: "So, you're saying Jax said the Nword before you did" Ragatha: "He says it all the time. He calls me nigga, he calls Gangle nigga, he calls himself nigga. Nigga this, nigga that, nigga pls, nigga check that hoe. My inner voice didn't talk like that before he got here!"
Seeing TADC fans/critics get legit mad at Michael Kovach for this is actually funny af. The guy is simply just doing his job as a VA and reading the script given to him.
This is like calling Fred Willard racist, because of his role as Riley's teacher in the Boondocks.
