@Brax7878@M0TI0NL3SSINWES I'll admit, I like their music, but yeah it does seem like other bands could probably be higher. System of a Down being so low is just strange
@M0TI0NL3SSINWES Not to mention that most folks expect they need to have seen 3 seasons of a TV show (arguably 4 including book of boba) to understand what is going on in the film.
@ConHistory With the size of something like Otafest, it feels like the vending departments could likely create a few dedicated staff positions for it to be honest. Bigger cons would need more manpower to do it, but they also have way more resources at their disposal
@ConHistory I've wondered if cons may benefit from a dedicated staff/volunteer position that's just a general helper for vendors, to run waters, take food orders and that way help make sure the vendors and artists aren't sat for 8 hours without even getting a chance for water
@anontkyo Hell, I might suggest it to some of my friends who are involved with cons. I guess its something that likely wasn't done due to difficulty finding a trusted volunteer to do it. But having a free floating assistant for vendors would solve so many issues
This is just ridiculous. Its basic business, reinvesting what you profited to make the next project bigger. That's how indies grow. So many people are just trying to tear down glitch since they see it as an obstacle to their own success.
@GamesNosh Its an odd claim that zoomers could never have touched tech or games that were a couple years older, especially since that's exactly when the older games got cheap. Hell, my first console was a wii, we got with a bunch of gamecube games and paraphenalia
@ipatrol6010@ReforgedSwordo Honestly true, you could probably create a major canon with some special mentions for each region, which kinda sounds like a really interesting thing to look over
@ipatrol6010@ReforgedSwordo Tbh, the idea of an anime literary canon does sound good but I feel like it would be nigh-impossible to create balancing Japanese tastes with english, spanish, etc.
Earnings call from Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks confirms D&D is going full live service.
After years of corpo shifts this proves they're done w/ print in favor of subscription traps.
Despite outcry modern gamers still pay.
Is this what they want?
Have they empowered the machine?
@fifteenai Fantastic, maybe some pre-created content/style tags might be a good idea? Pony, Anime, Furry, etc, make it easy for folks to filter their searches without needing to guess what tag people use?
