Restaurants, cafes and bars are going out of business everywhere. Tons of places I grew up eating at in New York are gone. Whenever I travel across the rust belt or upstate many places have nothing left to eat or do so young people hang out in gas stations.

Small business ownership, in the restaurant and hospitality space, will in the future will be seen as a type of non-profit volunteer work.

The problem Gulf countries will have if they help US against Iran is that if it goes badly, US will flee and deploy everything to protect Israel while leaving UAE, Qataris and Saudis to fend for themselves.
