Working aircraft part sales for over a decade, some would ask me where Waco was…I just said two words. Branch Davidians! They knew.

It is a small farm community 10 miles slightly northeast of Waco. I live in Axtell and am on the Elk VFD so I know. When news reports, or journalistic stories say “in Waco,”

@T_REX1991 Actually T-Rex…it is in Elk, Tx. If they want to use Waco as the nearest major city, then it should read “Branch Davidian Compound near Waco, Tx.” That is more accurate than what they wrote.
