Tips for friends/family of a cancer patient;
1. Don't try to fix it. You can't.
2. Listen. No 'at least' statements. Throw in the odd 'that sucks'.
3. Ask, 'What can I do?' Not 'Let me know if you need anything'.
4. Use your strengths. RMT? Offer a massage. Driver? Offer a ride.
