Poolside

The Community for Founders Building with AI

[Poolside @PoolsideCo]

Architecture, code, and AI collided to turn an ambitious concept into a buildable design.

@DarkMatteris, one of Poolside members, used it on Casa do Poente, an observatory house in Alentejo. Every angle, every sightline, worked out by prompt before a wall went up.

📒 @portals_fi is a team of nine.

$1B+ routed. 480 protocols across 14 networks. 60M+ API calls a month. A smart order router they built themselves.

One small piece of what the founders inside Poolside have built together. We are glad to be along for it. 🙌

We invest in the earliest stages then stay close: intros and technical help when you’re stuck.

📚 Poolside portfolio update:

@portals_fi has routed $1B+ and was a day-one launch partner for Base's tokenised equities.

They spent this year rebuilding infrastructure nobody was asking them to rebuild. Glad to be along for it.

and everything moves very fast, so they learned to ship under pressure

A few founders at Poolside came from web3.

Some of the habits they picked up are surprisingly useful for building AI products. 🧵

3. Adapt quickly.
Web3 moves fast. Narratives shift and yesterday's assumptions can become obsolete.
That comfort with uncertainty is valuable when building in AI.
