What if Old Steve Rogers in Endgame was actually Loki? 👀

Think about it.

Thanos destroyed Cap’s shield in the final battle, but the shield Old Steve gives Sam looks completely different.

And there’s another weird thing. Steve staying in the past with Peggy should’ve created a branched timeline. So how did an old Steve suddenly show up back on Earth-616?

He didn’t have Pym Particles. No time-space GPS either.

But Loki did have access to the TVA.

Remember, Loki warned Steve and Peggy that their new timeline was causing an incursion and offered them a safe reality to relocate to.

What if Steve asked Loki for one last favour before they left? Deliver the shield to Sam.

Loki could’ve used TVA tech to disguise himself as an older Steve and return the shield to the main timeline.

And that would also explain the Peggy question.

Sam asks Steve if he wants to tell him about her, and he says: “No, I don’t think I will.”

Because if that was Loki, he literally had nothing to tell Sam 😭

Honestly, this makes that whole Endgame scene look completely different.
