The Government launch a consultation on relaxing licensing hours for the FIFA Men’s Football World Cup finals.

The proposal is to extend the hours that premises are permitted to sell alcohol for consumption on the premises so that they can continue to sell alcohol to 01:00 the following morning.

Extension to licensing hours this Sunday following England’s progression to the UEFA Euros 2025 Final ⚽

After last night’s dramatic semi-final win, The Licensing Act 2003 (UEFA Women’s European Football Championship Licensing Hours) Order 2025 will now apply to Sunday 27th July and extends licensing hours for qualifying licensed premises.

Pubs can stay open until 1am tonight as England take on Italy in the UEFA Women's Euros semi-final ⚽

Thanks to the licensing hours extension confirmed by the Home Office earlier this year, premises that usually close at 11pm can now remain open until 1am. Premises not licensed to open until 11pm do not benefit from this extension.*

Last week, Felix took on the Pedalling To Pubs Challenge 2025, where he joined riders from across the hospitality industry to cycle 250km through the stunning Lake District... in just three days.

Did we mention he's still recovering from ACL surgery? Unreal.

Thanks to his incredible efforts, Felix smashed his £1,000 target to support two brilliant charities, Only A Pavement Away and Licensed Trade Charity, which both do life-changing work in our industry. He is only a short way away from £1,500, so if you could spare any pennies, it would be truly appreciated…

Home Office confirms extension of licensing hours for Women’s Euros.
