The core concept of this project is the parallel between blind institutional belief and our current financial systems.
The protagonist Pope_Fun comes from a future where money is meaningless because after the 3rd Tech Revolution, people finally valued each other instead of imaginary ledger numbers.
$HOLYSHIT is supposed to be a mirror held up to crypto-greed and of course the reference of putting the Vatican treasury onto 7-7-7 is purely written, like a standard, funny degen meme coin and plays with false promises of huge returns. Nevertheless, in the story of Pope_Fun, where money became meaningless after the 3rd Tech Revolution, people still wanted to get the adrenaline rush of gambling, so the Vatican decided to use their coins for casinos.
Pope_Fun wants to question who profits from the current system and rethink what "value" actually means, while $HOLYSHIT Coins are what is used for gambling, real investing has completly shifted, from money as a store of value towards human values. While money as a store of value allows individuals to accumulate wealth and preserve purchasing power for the future, human values serve as the emotional and ethical store of what truly sustains a society.
Because crypto Twitter is flooded with bots and algorithmic filters, the project was instantly flagged as a scam by automation. But the mechanics are completely transparent and designed against traditional crypto-greed:
\* 22.83% burned into the void
\* ~10.00% airdropped at launch
\* 7.07% locked up
\* 0.77% personal holding
\* 100.00% of Creator fees go directly to World Central Kitchen
WHAT DO YOU THINK:
Is using the absolute bottom-barrel infrastructure of crypto to critique crypto a sustainable meme format, or is the digital landscape too broken to hear the message?
