What a powerful time during PopUp Chorus this week as conductor, Allan Friedman taught us a refrain in Zulu from “Diamonds on the Soles of her Shors” in honor of his teacher, Joseph Shabalala from Ladysmith Black Mambazo who recently passed away. Love and respect was in the air.
