Researchers from the Institute of Molecular Science at the @UV_EG and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, including Professor Hendrik Bolink @HJBolink and Sofía Chozas-Barrientos, have developed a fast, solvent-free vacuum process capable of depositing uniform perovskite layers even on textured silicon solar cells.

Using close-space sublimation (CSS), the team achieved tandem solar cells with efficiencies of up to 24.3%, demonstrating strong potential for industrial-scale manufacturing.
