Cooking is the #1 cause of home fires and home fire injuries. Unattended cooking is the leading cause of fires in the kitchen.
#PortColborne, there is currently a burn ban in effect in rural areas only for large open fires. Despite the heatwave, recreational fires are still permitted across the city, however, here are some reminders about how to burn responsibly
