My Friends,
Here is the second article covering my course of therapy with @leptokinetic.
Next time I'll ask him if he can help me make my deadlines.
Please excuse the wait. https://t.co/o3bIg6Jh8B
@isjuustadream I doubt there are, if I understand you properly. There are lots of us who have 'experienced enlightenment,' but walking around being enlightened--very difficult. Accomplishing this is perhaps the highest goal, perhaps the lowest; hard to say.
I will fully explore and understand to the greatest extent of my abilities the workings and practices of all woo. I will let you know how it goes. What I find out, how, and when.
Meantime...
I probably won't be posting much going forward, friends. I'll keep to my commitments, and I will continue to publish (free) articles here; but the time has come to turn my attention to writing a proper book.
Good grief, stop bullshitting for a couple weeks and everybody forgets how awesome you are.
Oh, I just understood the modern world a little bit, there.
@ntonio_enzo I spent six or seven months trying to perfect the 'double-chee.' Which is a double cheeseburger but you can eat four if you're 15 and hungry, rather than two. I tried everything, and I finally found the secret: Contempt.
Just at the end, you have to not care about it at all.
My mother! She is in her 70's and has been deteriorating physically for some time. She suffered some terrible back injuries, and had several experimental-type (at the time) surgeries. It ruined her relationship with pain, and she doesn't recognize it properly anymore.
She says she thinks it happened while she was cleaning her kitchen. I'm going tomorrow to help her out--she's been nursing it for nearly a week and is frightened of surgery... anyway.
I'll see her tomorrow.
Talked with two pastors today, and man they are both such good people.
For a long time, in my youth, I resented such people. I thought they were acting like they were Jesus (and maybe some were, but mostly): No, not really.
In fact, they're lonesome people, most of the time. Being good at that job sets you in a bubble apart from the fellowship you help others to access. It's a kind of curse, really. You get to have this amazing relationship with God and his people, yet aspects of it are denied to you.
Reminds me of a story...
I am officially beginning my personal crusade to rid the world of lists. I'm having some difficulty remembering who/what to target and am seeking innovative solutions in this area.
