@drawswithfist2 I didnt have a gen 2 game as a kid. Mine was a green Zubat in emerald. I didn't even know what shinies were! Was playing on my broken DS. Had to switch to the bottom screen only lol
@inks_tcg I think the deck is too slow without Starmie. No early game pressure, no built in consistency beside the search off Shinobi blade. Every time I play the Kloak version of this deck I am behind before I get to do anything.
@Avocabros@Whimsicast I'm just using it to show Gen 1 isn't free of lazy or unoriginal design. The new gens have plenty of "animal designs" too. They made an Aye-Aye Pokemon that evolves from a shrew in Scarlet and Violet. They're making less new Pokemon now, but we still get so many good ones.
@Avocabros@Whimsicast Your criteria is completely inconsistent. Rotom actually has a concept of being a ghost posessing electrical appliances. Meanwhile you have Voltorb from Gen 1 thats just a Poke Ball, that evolves into an upside down one. Make it make sense.
@Avocabros@Whimsicast Bro has an AI generated avocado as his PFP talking about originality. But either way, this is a cherrypick. Inanimate object pokemon can be cool. Look at Chandelure, Polteageist, and Rotom's forms. Also, gen 1 had its fair share of unoriginal Pokemon. Look at Seel and Voltorb.
@Sjxhhxhshd@KudosOnYT Yeah its just as an older player I don't really play much anymore to bother to learn it. I've just kinda been aiming chest and hoping for the best with it.
@SPX_Artifactor@roguewatchtower Maybe it is so all the other single prize like Festival, Slowking, Etc cant just build massive hands. Plus you can still KO after.
