We take it from Parliamentary coverage, large exhibition/conference venues (those which host gatherings of a scale suspended since March 20) are eligible for the JSS closed scheme. Please confirm yes.

#DidYouKnow: conferences and meetings are worth £19bn to the UK in direct spend annually, while exhibitions are worth £11bn. We also export £2bn of exhibition services annually and are currently the only major European nation which has not restarted its #BusinessEvents sector.

Is it #science or #political choice that allows a music #concert @TheO2 for 4700 fans in December but doesn’t permit managed #audiences to attend #conferences at all? #Business #events are viable. It’s the restrictions that are not. Don’t let a UK world class industry collapse.

Please set a date for #events and #exhibition venues to reopen. The 600,000+ employed within the #EventsIndustry are desperate to get back to doing what they do best #WeMakeEvents
