@lamphieryeg@GailVazOxlade This particular tweet hurt me immensely.
Some never had a chance for "emergency fund". Those who did, lasted 6 months tops after losing jobs. Some commited suicide. Some - we are still wiggling.
Try to rebuild what one has been trained all their life (40+ years) for in 6 months
@lamphieryeg@GailVazOxlade Gail, you have an acute case of Province envy. Perhaps you should saddle up your Prius & come for a visit in say February, work a 12 hour shift in -40, see your family for 3 hours a day, & see what Albertans actually do for their families and the rest of the friggin nation.
@lamphieryeg@GailVazOxlade Gail, you are one of the nastiest pieces of puffer I have ever come across. Mean to the core. Maybe they spent $$ on raising families and paying for overpriced necessities.
@Thirdhandburito@lamphieryeg@RosieBarton Anyone who has ever lived in BC knows the government, no matter the party, is rotten and corrupt to the core, aided and abetted by trade unions, of course. Premier Horgan is not stopping Alberta pipelines for the environment...it's all about getting money in his pockets.
@lamphieryeg Buying carbon credits is akin to wealthy people settling up accounts in off shore tax havens. If you can afford it you can cheat the system
@lamphieryeg Funny thing, those of us that have the land, trees, crops, grassland that actually sinks the carbon, can’t sell offsets. Where do these people that sell credits sink the carbon? Asking for a friend
@lamphieryeg@Blazingcatfur@Bzubyk I remember one episode of the Flintstones where Barney said, "Just because I can tell time doesn't mean I can make a clock". Justin presumes any yarn by him will be accepted by enough people. Honestly!
