@xoxogossipgita The grocery store thing is funny to me because I lived in Minnesota, where grocery stores could only sell 3.2 beer, and moved to Reno where half the stores have little slot machine rooms. Grocery store was one of the first times I remember thinking "what even is this place"
@Lubchansky I went from thinking "brain in robot spider is too specific to be a bit" to discovering he also did in fact fuck and suck his way back to the top
@_KenAdams__@JuddLegum I guess if you're billing the state for a drive you're not making, you may as well pretend you're going back and forth every day, and driving back home for lunch as well
@OrrellAEI @mikepolkjr@JonahDispatch Oh damn, you're right. I totally forgot the Civil War happened because I don't have any framed Confederate currency displayed in my house. Thank God brave heroes like you are keeping the history alive
@KeenanPeachy This exact thing happened to my cousin. I'll DM you pictures of the rejection letters when he sends them, but he's off visiting his girlfriend in Canada so he doesn't have them with him. I'd ask his dad to look for them but he's very busy at his job in Japan working at Nintendo
@AprilNicoleinVA "I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I just believe a massive conflict isn't actually happening, and it's just a money laundering scheme perpetrated by every government on earth"
"We've all heard it blubbered by the terminally spineless, "no ethical consumption under-" yes, yes, ought we to congratulate you for abandoning your economic education the moment you found a quote you felt gave license to your moral cowardice?"
@MileHighMoments@cjmills82@TomPelissero Man, I'm a Broncos fan too. But they fired Ejiro's friend, and then passed him up for that promotion. Would not be wild if more of his pals are replaced with Payton's guys. First sign of trouble, you wanna guess who the scapegoat would be? Ejiro was always going to be leaving
@JT89336467 @JoshuaPHilll JT after the next age increase - "66 is still pretty low for European standards"
And the one after that - "you know, 68 is still pretty low for European standards"
"Actually, these days 70 is still pretty low for European standards"
@EqualityDefer_d @J_Chiemeke@Udide3@Nnedi@deray By your logic in this thread, if you wrote the headline for that story as "[Pitcher] Becomes The First Pitcher to Throw a No Hitter" you would qualify that as an accurate headline
@shutup_listen@bomani_jones Famously, Bill Bellicheck has little to do with personnel decisions, particularly at the most important position in the game
@Dan_Alper@mbanksHDL@Jedonfire@bomani_jones The whole thing reads a lot more like "Mac is bad and the Patriots would trade up of they wanted one of the good qbs" than "they would need to trade up for Mac specifically"
