I tried to tell you guys, that the New York Giants should have prioritized Saquon Barkley over Daniel Jones’s 2 years ago. Saquon was the life blood of the team.

The Giants lost the locker room the second they paid Daniel Jones 40 million a year and then nickel and dimed Saquon a year before watching him get signed by THEIR DIVISION RIVAL who he is doing backwards hurdles for and thriving.

The QB is supposed to be the guy, but if you don’t have complete organizational belief in a guy, you don’t pay him what NO ONE ELSE IN THE NFL WOULD HAVE just because you want to be right.

It’s hard to build around a running back only in today’s NFL game, but that doesn’t mean you let the heart and soul of your team go just for the simple fact that the build has to happen around the QB.

Now the Giants will have to start over because no one in the building goes to game day thinking they actually have a chance to win with Daniel Jones at QB.

Coaches look sad on the sideline. Players more willing to talk about other teams QBs more joyously and confidently than their own.

Losing magnifies everything, but it doesn’t make Daniel Jones a bad guy or say anything about his character.

What it does say is the New York Giants need a new DJ to play that funky music at QB for them because they have been spinning in circles and the music has stopped.
