@cjnovo992 Probably time to get Gerrard in now. Get it over with then people will stop banging on about him when they see that lightning won't strike twice with him.
@JoshuaBarrieRR Don't deserve European football. Embarrassing performance. Jagiellonia and Jablonec back to back...that's a shambles.
Probably a mercy this side isn't getting served up in Europe beyond tonight.
@RealTolmie Don't understand. All he wanted to do was return to his home country after achieving everything imaginable with us and Spain. How does that mean he's rejected legendary status?
@StevenMcinerney He's good...but one of the best in the world steady on. Other than depth in midfield I don't see how this elevates Arsenal at all tbh.
@Amato861 @BraidersX What message are you sending with your initial post then if it's not to be interpreted as you shitting on the signing? Were you expecting Vinicius?
@alexjg0 Scored more than a few key goals for us that should have counted for more. This being one of them.
Very tidy player IMO. Sure he won't be missed by many but I liked him. Just hasn't quite worked out for him with us.
@TheQuietKid18 Cerny been head and shoulders above any1 else we've had in that position for years. Never mind resale value. You're paying a premium for a ready made top performer who is guaranteed to deliver the numbers we've otherwise lacked woefully from right wing. If it can be done, do it.
@XCFX171221 Lad was extremely highly rated by Sunderland captain when they got promoted. Only moved because they bought Xhaka who's pretty much top tier. He's clearly not shit. Give him a chance before putting him in the bin with the rest.
@pulpy ...basically completing football with us. People acting like it leaves a sour taste just because it's Real Madrid he's going to. Nonsense really. It's where he's from. Well entitled to play the remaining years of his career wherever he wants to. We have had the best of him.
@pulpy Loyalty doesn't just mean staying regardless. Would you rather he went home at the end of his contract and we get no money for him or he leaves now while we can still command a sizeable fee for him? We get money in the bank and he gets to move home after...
@SheikhMCI I'll enjoy the process for sure. I've been more than satiated with what we've achieved over the last 10-15 years having began my support of the club in the early 90s. I don't need to see us win everything in sight every year to love my club.
@mancity_talk No legacy tarnished as far as im concerned. He's achieved everything he could have dreamt of and more with us. Is without question a legend. And wants to return to his homeland while there's still a high level left in him. Don't begrudge him at all.
@The_Tman10 If seen sharply enough the pass absolutely is on. Stones does as much as he could but Sorloth slow in his decision making. It didn't need putting on a plate for EH just get it into his feet so he can take a touch then shoot.
It's a dreadful missed opportunity at that level.
@ManCity_Es It is an easy pass. It's not an easy pass for long as the gap naturally closes but your expect a player playing in a world cup quarter final to be sharp enough to see and release the ball. If played quickly enough Haaland can take a touch then shoot. Sorloth is slow and clumsy.
@ibroxrocks DM is building a squad. Devlin could have his uses in certain games. Presumably won't be high wages. Coming off the best season of his career possibly? Not a bad cheap/free option to bolster the squad.
@City_Insider_ The fact he's even in the squad given the names left at home is a compliment to him. He's young, hugely talented but not mature yet. Use it as a learning experience and grow from it. How he comes back to us off the back of this world cup is entirely up to him.
@RealTolmie@dave_urmston How is it a gamble? He's achieved more than most players already in world football on a personal level and with City. He's effectively playing with house money from now on because he's smashed his career to this point .
