Rangers 10, Tigers 4: Texas got eight hits from the bottom three hitters in the order. Evo gets the win.
Rangers finish their 15-day stretch with no break at 10-5. They're a half-game ahead of Seattle in the AL West.

Love that Round Rock did this and acknowledged the absurdity of it. The way this one is going we might see Mr. Peoples make his debut. 9-3 Rangers in seventh.
Still wanted to share the big news... Welcome to The Show, Ben Peoples!
After 24 hours in Round Rock, Peoples will be active tonight as the Rangers take on the Detroit Tigers at 7:05 p.m. at Globe Life Field.

Josh Smith ground ball off the pitcher's glove and that scores a run. Here comes A.J. Hinch again. Rangers are a runaway train. 9-3 Texas. Oh we're still in the seventh. Kenley Jansen coming on for Detroit.
Nicky Lopez does his best Alejandro Osuna impression and singles home a run on a ground ball. 8-3. It's the "seeing-eye" stuff the Rangers weren't getting a month ago in this offense.
Alejandro Osuna guides an RBI single into left field to score Carter. I'm not sure the Rangers have a better hitter right now at finding defensive seams. Rangers lead 7-3.
Rangers brought in Evan Carter to pinch-hit against Brieske. A.J. Hinch said screw that and Drew Sommers, a lefty, is now in the game. Carter is going to face a lefty after getting two hits off lefties on Monday. Skip likely knew that was coming.
Robby Ahlstrom gets out of the jam. He has to face at least one more hitters. Tigers' next three hitters are lefties. He could face all three.
Also, his middle name is Coolidge.
Ok, so it did matter. Gray coming in to replace Alexander. The effect? The Tigers pinch hit twice for lefties with righties. Gray has good splits against both sides of plate. If he doesn't get Lee here it's back to top of order.
I'm not entirely sure how this information helps but Peyton Gray is now playing catch with Tyler Alexander in the Rangers bullpen. But you get Evo in the sixth and, for some reason, we're singing Country Roads now. #HailWV
Skip has seen enough. Here comes Tyler Alexander. Eovaldi is in line for the win after he struck out nine and gave up three runs in 5.1 innings. Evo only faced one hitter and got him out. Three of Tigers next four hitters were lefties, so Skip must like that matchup.
