@glock_turner@BrandonRahbar@IZigger77@lithgowflashman He’s been remarkably healthy until this season. He played 75, 71 and 69 games in his first 3 seasons. Hamstring injuries suck because they take a long time off to fully heal (as we saw this year) but they aren’t career threatening by any means. You’re talking like he’s Zion. 😂
I was told — *by this very gambling company* — that SGA and the Thunder are the only ones who sell calls and that the Spurs are the standard bearers for “ethical hoops.”
Needless to say, I am very confused.
Stephon Castle on suggestions that the Spurs are not floppers and if they are leaving gamesmanship on the table:
"I don't really know to answer that, because I sell calls too, I can't lie."
Some personal news, as they say:
Excited beyond belief to be joining @NOTUSreports as a sports reporter, covering a mash-up of familiar topics for me: the overlap of sports + politics, the overlap of college sports + Capitol Hill, and ... wait for it ... the Nationals!

Listening to the interviews today, it’s actually so insane that people hate this team. All of these guys say the right things, play for each other, the organization and the fans. We went wrong somewhere if this is what we hate now.
Any OKC hate has always been weird because these guys have never been anything less than complete class acts who have handled themselves with poise and humility in both victory and defeat. Just a great group of guys that I couldn’t be more happy to have my 3 young boys root for.
Was tactfully honest that Chet has to better without tearing him down, took ownership that he himself needs to be better too, and built Chet up and let the whole world know he trusts Chet to learn from this and put in the work to come out better bc of this. Leadership.
@TrevOreTrevOre That guy was the best player on the floor in Game 7 but just didn’t have enough help. But more importantly, he is a tremendous leader and a class act of a human being.
Love this OKC team. They battled through endless injuries all season and it just finally caught up with them. Pretty tough to beat a good team 4 out of 7 times without your second and fourth best players. But they fought to the very end and that’s all you can ask.
This the type of series that might lead to an uncharacteristically desperate trade from Presti. I’d call about Chet/J-Dub if I had a lotto pick, no doubt.
Chet is going to get a ton of criticism for his performance in this series, and rightfully so. He was bad. He clearly has a mental block with Wemby. He has to get past it. But if there’s anyone I’d bet on putting in the work needed to figure it out, it’s Chet.
