As far as late-career filmmaking goes, Boyle is far more in tune with the material reality of our world as it stands right now.
Everything IS fucked and it is here to stay, yet you've gotta love regardless.
chances are if there's footage of another game in a clip it's something I went and recorded myself just because I don't want to risk some guy showing up and being like "um that's my gameplay" and killing me or whatever
Vanillaware finally coming to PC is a BIG DEAL. Their games are made with a custom in-house engine, NOT Unity or Unreal, which means it's way more difficult for them to port to different platforms. So if you want more of their games on PC, wishlist Muramasa on Steam RIGHT NOW!
Again… I’ll buy Muramasa not only because it’s a great game that I want out of the Wii/Vita jail, but also because I want to signal to Atlus and other publishers that porting the other Vanillaware games to PC is a great idea. I know it’s expensive, especially for a small team.
before anyone says "just emulate it" i've tried it and it stutters like hell, its not unplayable but i do wish my first time fully playing it wasnt annoying because of reasons outside of the game itself
Vanillaware's founder George Kamitani said that he wants to port his studio's games to PC, but it depends on the publisher to finance the ports.
BitSummit's James Mielke, who talked with Kamitani, said if you want 13 Sentinels, Dragon’s Crown, Unicorn Overlord, Odin Sphere etc. on PC, make some noise.
