While Sir Keir Starmer shamelessly boasts he “took on” the Rochdale grooming gangs as Director of Public Prosecutions and cynically claims personal credit for the convictions to boost his political career, a devastating Daily Express investigation by Zak Garner-Purkis reveals the shocking CPS betrayal and victim smearing that happened under his leadership (2008-2013):

- Vulnerable victim “Amber” - horrifically abused and raped by the Pakistani grooming gang - was used as a key witness.
- For “tactical reasons,” Starmer’s CPS lawyers added her to the same indictment as the rapists, labelling her a “teenage pimp”, “paedo” and “older madame” who was procuring children for the gang.
- She was never arrested, never cautioned and NEVER TOLD - leaving her no chance to defend herself against these vile lies.

An independent review slammed it as “deplorable further abuse” of a vulnerable child victim. GMP later apologised.

Even more horrifying: Survivor Ruby, raped from age 12 and impregnated at 13 by gang member Adil Khan, had an abortion - only for police to secretly take her aborted foetus without telling her or any responsible adult, then keep it frozen in a refrigerator at Rochdale police station as “evidence”.

This happened on Starmer’s watch at the CPS. He proudly parades the later convictions as his success while his prosecutors smeared victims, dropped early cases over “credibility” concerns and rolled out weak “paedophile ASBOs” instead of proper charges - allowing predators to continue destroying lives.

Starmer is compromised. Victims deserve the truth, not more cover ups from the man who oversaw these failures.
