Original Stories > Copying Comic Runs

If you try to adapt a run beat for beat chances are you’re just going to do it worse. Long as it’s not a betrayal of the core of the character, take liberties while using some inspiration here and there from the source material.

If comic writers can tell new stories with these characters no reason filmmakers can’t do the same.
