After helping kids get to the next level in college hoops for 7 years, I have come to the conclusion there are 3 reasons why seniors are still unsigned in June: 1. They have not played in front of the appropriate college 🏀 level coaches. 2. They and their families have a D1 or bust mentality. 3. They have been receiving bad advice from various people and entities. YOU ARE THE LEVEL THAT U ARE BEING RECRUITED. In today’s environment don’t turn down a life changing opportunity. @CRConsultingSD1@PowerNIL_@FullTimeHoops1@3PointPlayer@D3Direct@BQuillmanQcast@OACBBallShow@MattSnyderD3
Today we remember the heroes who gave everything for something greater than themselves. Memorial Day is more than the start of summer. It is a time to honor the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of the men and women who never made it home.
At PowerNIL, we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served and sacrificed for our country. We remember the fallen, honor their families, and thank all who continue to carry their legacy forward.

Spoke with a college coach this past weekend at a live event. We were discussing a player he was gonna watch play. Heard he had great grades, basketball skills, and was athletic. After the game, I asked the coach if he was still interested. Coach said he was not going to recruit him due to lack of hustle during the game. PLAYERS GETTING RECRUITED IS MORE THEN ATHLETICISM AND SKILLS. IT IS ABOUT DESIRE AND HEART. @CRConsultingSD1@3PointPlayer@D3Direct@PowerNIL_
Spent this past weekend at two live period events in SoCal. Several observations. 1. Extremely expensive. Talked to several parents who could not afford to pay and watch their kid play.
2. Saw several JUCO, NAIA, D3, and D2 coaches. I would say around a total of maybe 30-35 colleges. Did not see one D1 college coach. I do know many coaches watch the live streaming. BUT number of coach attendees dramatically down from pre Covid years. 3. Spoke with a coach who has coached all levels. Said out of hundreds of kids he watched , only about 15 could play college hoops.
WE CANT KEEP DOING THIS. TO EXPENSIVE, TO MANY TEAMS, TO MANY TRNS. What is the solution? @CRConsultingSD1@PowerNIL_@FullTimeHoops1@3PointPlayer@BQuillmanQcast@RyanAlanScott@MattSnyderD3@D3Direct@ZacSnyder@OACBBallShow
Why are more brands turning to athletes over traditional influencers?
Because athletes bring more than views. They bring trust, discipline, built in communities, and real world credibility. With NIL, brands now have access to passionate athletes at every level who can create authentic content, represent your company the right way, and build lasting connections with fans and consumers.
What makes athletes different? Their influence does not stop online.
This is where athletes truly separate themselves from traditional influencers. While most influencers are limited to digital engagement, athletes carry their impact into the real world every single day. They are recognized in gyms, restaurants, campuses, local events, and throughout their communities.
They do not just create impressions. They create conversations, brand awareness, and real foot traffic. Athletes are not just influencers. They are role models, leaders, and culture drivers in their communities.
At PowerNIL, we help brands connect with athletes who align with their mission, audience, and goals. You can check out our full roster of athletes your brand can partner with by following the link below!

Today we announce our PowerNIL partnership with Rise Above, Friends of Penn State Adaptive Athletics, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to advancing elite opportunities for adaptive student-athletes.
This initiative is focused on one clear objective: raising the funding necessary to provide scholarships, training resources, equipment, and travel support for adaptive athletes competing at the highest level. Unlike traditional Division I athletes backed by major athletic budgets, these athletes rely on external support to access the same level of opportunity. The gap is real, and this partnership is built to close it.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding access and opportunity for adaptive athletes whose resilience, determination, and performance define elite competition. The goal is not only to provide support, but to help build a program that earns national respect and serves as a model for collegiate adaptive athletics.
We are actively engaging corporate partners, sponsors, and individual donors who want to align with these high-performance athletes and directly impact these athletes’ ability to train, compete, and succeed.
Partners and donors are invited to engage now!
