With his entire family and former high school and college teammates — including Shabazz Napier, Jeremy Lamb, Chris Fouch, and closest friends — in attendance, Hornets legend Kemba Walker officially opened the Kemba Walker Sports Academy in Concord today.
A lifelong dream for the four-time All-Star and the Hornets’ all-time leading scorer, the academy extends Walker’s legacy by providing top-of-the-line training and facilities for young athletes in the Charlotte area.
The facility features four full-size high school basketball courts, a state-of-the-art strength and conditioning center, and a dedicated team room for film study and performance analysis.
The academy will also host the inaugural Kemba Walker Basketball Invitational this weekend, June 27–28.
The NBA Playoffs are delivering their highest viewership through the Conference Semifinals in 29 years, with an average of 4.5 million viewers per game across ABC, ESPN, NBC/Peacock and Amazon Prime Video.
Following last night’s double-overtime thriller to open the Western Conference Finals, Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals tips off tonight with the New York Knicks hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Over the last 5 weeks, Zuby Ejiofor has been training non stop in Vegas with a focus on shooting the 3, shooting off the dribble, & shooting on the move.
I believe Zuby really improved his stock today. Truly think he can be picked as early as 24 but no later than 40 #sjubb
It’s 2026
This year, a massive number of rap and R&B records become eligible for termination.
That means songwriters and artists finally have the legal right to reclaim their publishing and their masters.
If you know any of these songwriters or artists, tag them in this post.
This represents what could be the largest transfer of wealth to Black people in the history of the music industry.
But…
If you do not terminate your publishing and your masters within the legal window, you lose that right forever.
These labels and publishers will NOT tell you this but I will.
