@BravesColdTakes Itwas an interesting decision after 2 walks and then ha e the lefty bunt vs RHP for a RH 9th batter. The wild pitch saved them from this move looking as dumb as it really was

@MHIIisKing Walt could not make a bad decision for a month and a half and now hasn't made a good decision in the last month in a half. Every button he pushes blows something up. Pretty sure Richie could have gave up a run in the first and we still would have an extra lefty in the bullpen

@TheBryanBrewton Just tell him the all star break is 2 weeks this year. Have him go sit in the woods and hunt for 2 weeks and maybe the mental part of the problem goes away

@680TheFan He has to say that but I see way more signs of it continuing to be bad than I do him returning to anything lile he was before. Forget the mechanics, his pitch recognition and recognition of the strike zone is awful

@JoeGiannacco Strider has bbeen a shell of himself. Most guys return from surgery throwing just as hard but his 2-4 mph loss took his fastball from elite to average.

@baseballfan30 @KevinKeneely1 Control was his problem before the injury. This is clearly who he is. 2024 and 2025 stats both just over 90 innings, 45 and 50 walks respectively. A 4-4.5 BB per 9 guy. The kid has unbelievable stuff with horrible control

@680TheFan Waldrep has the stuff of an all star with the control of a bad high school pitcher. He needs to go down and figure it out. Stuff doesn't matter when you walk guys and miss middle middle all the time

@steve8022_smith He dude hi5 it like 4 feet though and did not K so that is an improvement. I hope so bad for the Braves and him he can figure this out. Just not sure it is there anymore. Not sure how at his age but he has no plate discipline and seems to guess (and guess wrong) at every pitch
