Boris Johnson said in 2004 that he would eat his ID at a polling station in protest if the law ever required it.
In 2022, he passed a law requiring ID to vote and dismissed criticism it would stop people voting.
In 2024, he forgot his ID when trying to vote and was turned away.
#ShamimaBegum was 15 (a child) when she left the UK. She was wrongly stripped of her British citizenship.
She should be brought home to face British justice.
Shamima is our problem.
Labour election leaflet photo sorted … PM1 gave you Brexit. PM2 failed to sort it. PM3 lied to get it and lied about everything else. PM4 crashed the economy. PM5 is way worse than 1 and 2 and only marginally better than 3 and 4. 13 years. Nothing has got better. Time to go
So-called conversion therapy is abuse.
It’s astonishing this hasn’t been banned five years after the Conservatives promised.

Homosexuality is criminalised and even subject to the death penalty in many countries.
And it's a fact that LGBT+ people make up a tiny proportion of asylum claims.
This is dangerous rhetoric from a Home Secretary blaming everyone else for her failures.

Just imagine having the right to live, study, work, shop, do business or retire freely, wherever you want, over a whole continent full of so many wonderful cultures, languages, foods, history and people ...
Just imagine taking that right away from your children. Who does that ?

Education matters.
The skills and knowledge you gain from learning as well the final exam results, matters.
To hear the Tory education Secretary talking down the importance of effort, education and results fries my brain.
Every Labour government delivered rights and freedoms to those previously discriminated against.
And so will the next.
That thought alone make me really proud to march with fellow Labour councillors, members, supporters and MPs today.
