Pulmonarias produce dainty bell shaped flowers that change colour as they age, turning from deep pink to blue-purple. Leaves have creamy-white patches, its common name lungwort.
Pulmonarias are brilliant for ground cover and are easy to grow quite happily, even in a shady spot.
