Each time the PNP raised the alarm about the gas hedge tax. that keeping the tax and pocketing the revenue instead of using it for it's intended purpose or to help cushion the crisis. This uncaring and short sighted government shut us down.
Today? We face the repercussions of their inaction..
Fuel costs up. Food costs up. Petrojam bleeding millions. And a national budget with zero provisions for relief built on oil at $60/barrel when it's now hitting $100.
While governments worldwide are protecting their people, the Holness administration has no plan.
Jamaica deserves an administration with vision.
