Thank you to everyone who joined us at Champions of Choice in Chapel Hill to celebrate our victories from the 2024 NC election! We are incredibly lucky to have been joined by so many advocates of reproductive freedom, including Governor Josh Stein and Lt. Governor Rachel Hunt! ❤️
Thanks @PPSATNC for the reenergizing Champions of Choice breakfast yesterday. “Keep going, keep going” was the message. Good seeing @VoteCamille4CH! And shout out @jennycblack, longtime CEO, who is leaving for another post. But her fighting spirit will always remain with us!
I will not run next year, nor do I have plans to seek elected office in the future.
Until we change the hearts and souls of those inside the political arena, it is unlikely the political process itself will undergo any meaningful change.
Crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) in North Carolina have received $30 million over the last three years despite minimal oversight and dangerous outcomes. They have a long history of lying and misleading pregnant people seeking care. https://t.co/tnkzxw6iXF

We have a plan. Yeah, we’ve fought long and hard and there's a bigger fight ahead, but we know how to turn our anger into action. We are fighting for a future where everyone controls their own lives and bodies and we will never back down.
One thing is for sure: This is not the time for us to throw up our hands in defeat. We have resisted before and we will again. We are here to fight until all people have the reproductive freedom they deserve. We always have, and we always will.
🧵 North Carolina, you showed up and used your voting power to elect Josh Stein as our next governor! Stein is a proven leader who is committed to protecting the fundamental freedoms of all North Carolinians.
But on the federal level, millions of us are experiencing a great deal of fear and uncertainty about what the results of this election, and another Trump presidency, will mean for our reproductive freedom.
Vice President Harris ran a bold, hopeful, joyful campaign and we remain thankful for her service to our country and our values. Like the VP said today: when we fight, we win, but sometimes the fight just takes a little longer. 💙
We won races in this state last night that I know WILL save lives. We also lost races that I fear will put lives at risk. I’m as troubled by it as all of you are. But Donald Trump cannot paralyze us. Building our local power is a priority. And we’re going to need *you* next year.
Nearly 600 Planned Parenthood health centers around the country opened their doors to patients to provide the reproductive health care our communities rely on. When we say care no matter what, we mean it.
Today, America broke our hearts but won’t break our souls. We won’t be silenced. We’ve fought long and hard, and there's an even bigger fight ahead of us – but I know this: We’ll win the fight for reproductive freedom in the long game. We’re built for this.
