I can't believe it took me this long to watch a classic film, but I'm happy that one of the first I watched was 12 Angry Men (1957)
An absolutely fantastic film, Lumet hooks you in from the very first minute and keeps you engrossed for the full 90 minutes (1/3)
The characters are the real driving force of the story, each one represents a type of person you can find in society. It's a simple premise, yet one so enthralling that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
There is a lot I want to say but I don't want to spoil the movie
(2/3)
Just started reading the Absolute Batman comics, and I have to say that the art is absolutely stunning
Nick Dragotta and Frank Martin did a fantastic job on this, feels like my eyes have been blessed
@ajackSMH Yeah I know, but a lot of people especially on TikTok have this annoying obsession of trying to force this Batman into the DCU when it's an Elseworlds project
Just watched The Grand Budapest Hotel
It's a charming film, albeit a bit overrated. Amazing cinematography, charming characters, a solid-ish plot, with some great jokes make this a fun watch. The CGI was really bad poor though and looked comical
Overall a 7-8/10 imo
Don't look at the post since it contains a ton of spoilers, but Prisoners is one of the best films I've watched
It has a fantastic everything: plot, characters, cinematography, themes, etc. I could speak on and on about this movie
Please consider watching it if you have time
