The cruelty of this government knows no bounds. Dipke has once again been denied arrest. Police swooped down when he wasn't at Jantar Mantar. They clearly don't understand a youth's need. He left America to come back to his home country and gathered such support, but the government is still playing deaf to his demand. I fear he will meet the same fate on July 20. A brief detention might be granted, but that will be that.
He has claimed he was beaten up and dragged but freed nonetheless, forcing him to do what he has avoided for 40 days, to take the baton from Sonam sir. The establishment wants the bud to bloom but not too quickly. Now opposition leaders will have to come and see him, not Wangchuk. Good for neither, politically challenging for both.
The only good thing coming out of this sordid saga is that Wangchuk is no longer exposed to the elements. The horridly humid, sticky summer season can be devastatingly draining for an already weakened body.

Mr. Shiv Aroor,@ShivAroor
From the comfort of a studio chair, you’ve declared doctors useless, shameless, and a threat to India — without bothering with facts, context, or even basic
If doctors are truly the worst thing on this planet for India, come prove it.

How much unpaid labour does a resident do.
A resident salary- give or take is around 1 Lakh/month.
Residents are supposed to work 50hr/week.
So, 200 hr/month = 1 Lakh.
So, basically 500₹/hour.
How much a Resident works?
On an average 80-90 hours - so approximately 40 hours per week and 160 hours extra in a month.
Overtime is supposed to be twice of normal but Ill use only 1.25X since we ‘owe’ to govt.
So, on an average 160hours/month * 500₹/hr *1.2x
= 1 Lakh worth of unpaid labour.
So for JRship - it was 36L worth of unalie labour.
Add 3 year of DM/SRship. (Pay is higher but I’ll consider same)
Total amount owed to doctors- 72Lakh.
Doctors don’t owe shit to govt.
You make back everything in unpaid labour and more.
This fucking lie.
No, you don’t spend anything on us.
The hospital exists independent of college.
AIIMS was created a hospital - not just for MBBS. Institutes like PGI don’t even have MBBS.
You can’t take health budget and divide by number of MBBS students and say we spend that much.
The budget for academics is 10% of entire budget of hospital.
If you spend - it’s 3-5L, not 30L/year.
And most govt colleges now already have 2-3L fees.
There is zero subsidy.
You are mistaken. Both ‘pati’ (पति) and ‘patnī’ (पत्नी) mean “owner”, “possessor”, “master/mistress” or “ruler”. The word ‘patnī’ (पत्नी) is the feminine form of ‘pati’ (पति), and not the opposite. Hence, the word ‘patnī’ (पत्नी) does not mean “a slave”.
The word ‘pati’ (पति) literally means “a protector”, from the root √‘pā’ (पा). As a masculine word, it means both “a master, owner, possessor, lord, ruler” and “a husband” (Monier-Williams Sanskrit-English Dictionary).
It may come as a surprise to many, but ‘pati’ (पति) is also a feminine word. As a feminine word, ‘pati’ (पति) means “a female possessor, mistress”, i.e. a female owner or ruler (Monier-Williams Sanskrit-English Dictionary).
When used at the end of compounds, the word ‘pati’ (पति) is gender-neutral, i.e, it can indicate both a masculine and feminine owner. For example, a female leader of a village can be called both a ‘grāmapati’ (ग्रामपति) and a ‘grāmapatnī’ (ग्रामपत्नी) in Sanskrit.
The feminine word ‘patnī’ (पत्नी) means both “a female possessor, mistress” and “a wife” (Monier-Williams Sanskrit-English Dictionary).
Just like we have words like ‘adhipati’ (अधिपति), which means “a ruler, commander, regent, king”, there are words like ‘adhipatnī’ (अधिपत्नी), which means “a female sovereign or ruler” (Monier-Williams Sanskrit-English Dictionary).
Another example: ‘gṛhapati’ (गृहपति) means “the master or owner of a house” and similarly ‘gṛhapatnī’ (गृहपत्नी) means “the mistress or owner of a house” (Monier-Williams Sanskrit-English Dictionary).
The Golden Rule of Indian Healthcare:
The longer the list of degrees, the bigger the Quack. 🚩
Presenting the ultimate Degree Salad:
M.D.F.I.A.G.P: A fake "MD" created by mashing up a random fellowship membership.
AASECT (USA): A counseling certificate for therapists, NOT a license to practice medicine. Adding "(USA)" is just to fool the patient.
Notice what is missing?
MBBS or any NMC-recognized Medical Degree.
Instead, we see https://t.co/g8Guydn7WS (Hons).
Since when do Bachelor of Science graduates treat patients?"
If you have to read the entire alphabet to find their qualification, run.

Ravi Shastri slams Gambhir 🚨
“It’s so easy to sit back in the comm box or on a podcast and point fingers, criticize coaches and players, and talk big until you’re actually in the arena. When you step into the real battle, results speak louder than words. Now the whole country knows who has achieved what — and who just talks.”
At least he tried, a place where people still vote based on caste, freebies, and he diverted attention towards industries, employment, and education.
Want him to stay and keep raising legitimate issues of Bihar.

Dear @PrashantKishor
Your ideas were visionary.
Your issues were visionary.
You fought the election on development,
but overconfidence pulled you down.
I hope you continue to speak for the youth,
and one day, you will surely come to power.
Best of luck for your future ❤️
All those pages trolling him, Never want Bihar to win , they want a political party to win , remember that.
He raised issues like migration , unemployment, industries , which every Bihari wanted.
You can oppose him ,but not his notion.
#prashantkishore
Dear @PrashantKishor : I want to congratulate you, as a fellow Bihari who cares for his state of Bihar, for being bold and gutsy enough to launch a political party and hit the grassroots, and provide an alternative political idea to change the lives of the people of Bihar.
Irrespective of the election results, a great effort by Jan Suraaj Party. I hope you stay the rough course. Indian politics needs more competitive experimentations. You must treat this as a semi-finals.
Good luck!
As I go through my second sleepless night, I continue to process my emotions. I didn’t know Danya closely, but his loss feels deeply personal. Danya was a good person and a valued member of the chess family.
During this time, @akaNemsko, @NihalSarin, @GMHikaru, and many others have voiced what I too have felt — about Kramnik’s persistent cyberbullying.
I call upon @FIDE_chess to act. FIDE has a clear Ethics and Disciplinary Code, and it’s difficult to see how Kramnik’s conduct doesn’t violate multiple points, especially under Article 11(screenshots attached)
It’s too late to help Danya, but many of us continue to fear for players like David Navara and others whose mental health is under direct attack.
If the word ethics truly holds meaning in FIDE’s charter — and if Gens Una Sumus is more than just a slogan — FIDE must act.
I urge fellow members of the chess community who feel the same to join in calling on FIDE to take action.

Bipin Joshi was a Nepali Hindu who was studying agricultural engineering in Israel when he was kidnapped by Hamas.
At some point during his captivity they filmed a video of him alive and well, but they decided to kill him, because that is who Hamas is. They hate all of humanity, not just Jews.
Om Shanti brother, may your memory be a blessing.
