7.Being a service road, buses and trucks are very rare, so heavy-heavy loads aren’t expected.
8.Since the road was getting damaged every rain, concrete work was very much necessary.

5.For such a service road, a 150 mm thick concrete layer is sufficient.
6.The concrete used is M40 grade, which is the standard for roads of this kind.

2.The 80 m stretch is a low-lying area prone to heavy water-logging, which forced frequent damage to the asphalt.
3.Because of the water-logging & asphalt failure, traffic jams were mounting on the main road, so intervening here was necessary.

⚠️ No iron bar reinforcement. Its not RCC but PCC. Thickness 4-6 inch [6" frame] only.
⚠️ How can a road meant for buses and heavy vehicles [HDC], be built with such a thin layer and no reinforcement🤔
⚠️ Roads are blocked due to poor planning and its causing inconvenience for thousands of families. Moreover, work is too slow.
