@SenThomTillis I have an objection to Trump and Musk continuing to dictate how StarShield and StarLink are used. I have no faith in the US Government with Trump as head or in SpaceX with Musk as head representing the interests of the American People. They are not for us.
They must be ousted
Yes, she was. During a wide-ranging conversation about what Dems should do should they regain a branch of government, she mentioned prosecuting the unbelievable corruption coming out of the White House.
She mentioned going after not just Trump, but also his enablers that allow this corruption to happen. They are also committing crimes, and don't enjoy the same presidential immunity that Trump does via the Roberts court.
Later, picking up that thread, she notes that supporters and potential supporters of Trumpism would be deterred by seeing current members of the administration under investigation. That is right and accurate and as it should be. Corruption like this should never be allowed to exist again in the US Government. Anyone who would want to pick up that thread would be deterred by seeing how previous enablers of corruption were punished.
That's literally how crime and punishment works in this country, or at least, how it should. Thieves are deterred because they see consequences for other thieves. Rioters are deterred by consequences for Rioters.
Right now, those people aren't being punished. Instead, we have an administration selling pardons and favors to the highest bidder. This corruption must end, and it must never be allowed to take root again.

@ElissaSlotkin@MeidasTouch Thank you Senator Slotkin! The reason we are in such a lawless hellscape right now is because Democrats refused to prosecute Trump 1 immediately and efficiently. Now they are emboldened.
Re-establishment of the rule of law should be Dems top priority. Start with the White House
@ThinkerChicago@ElissaSlotkin@MeidasTouch No she doesn't! She spoke the truth! Any and all criminals associated with this regime need to be prosecuted. It would deter future acts of criminality in government!
@SenatorLujan@SenatorSlotkin These have gotta be bots. He is staggeringly corrupt, and everyone tied to his administration should be investigated and prosecuted. That's the bare minimum
Incredible scoop by my @WSJ colleagues: Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of a military-grade version of Starlink relied on by Ukraine, a decision that sparked panic in Kyiv and confusion inside the Trump administration. https://t.co/yvd8Xlgxe0
@JohnCornyn@WSJopinion I don’t think any young American should work for Donald Trumps administration. It is a criminal organization, as you well know.
Not prosecuting these crimes will lead to more criminals holding high office in the future. That is unacceptable. They must be prosecuted.
OK. Where's the evidence of Democrats selling the pardon power for $300k a pop?
Where's the evidence of Democrats totally abusing the pardon power for their own nefarious purposes?
Where's any evidence of both sides?
GTFOH with this nonsense. Only one party is abusing their power. Grow up
@WSJ@WSJopinion@KimStrassel Dog not one state has prospered under Trump. Genuinely who the fuck are you trying to fool with this headline???
No one is buying it.
You're a fucking idiot if this defines your politics.
"Oh Trump started a war with Iran and has made all American products more expensive because he thinks tariffs do something they don't."
"Yeah but a flying car though!!"
You're a fucking idiot. You could be confused by keys jangling. Figure it the fuck out for the rest of us. Please and thank you.
Except that you all DO use kids lives to protect guns
“Some gun deaths a year is unfortunately the price you have to pay for the second amendment.” (Paraphrasing)
The number is 3000 kid deaths/year, which is by far the leading cause of death for children. That’s the price we all are paying for your guns.
@HouseDemocrats Keep going. This has been who they are for forty years now.
They start wars in the Middle East and cause recessions. That's all Republicans have to offer Americans
