Surreal 2 days at Harvard India Conference. Started at 14 as a 'youth journalist' and 25 years later, here I am, speaking about my life, journey, masculinity, mental health.. and making some terrible jokes that somehow made people laugh 🥹

I've put in the time to get here ❤️
I was the guy in school who would be out interviewing celebrities for magazines while others were living it up.
I was the guy in college who would be up till 4 am working on our college magazine while others were partying.
I was the guy who was first to arrive and last to leave at office in HT, MTV, YRF.
I was the guy who taught at a Journalism college for 7 years not to talk but to listen to my students.
I was the guy who was on the road for 6 months across 35 cities of India, listening to 15,000+ young people so I don't sit in a glass cabin in Mumbai and claim I understand 'Yuvaa'.
I am the guy who researches for a whole week to prep for a single podcast conversation, listening to every conversation my guest has ever had, so I can go deeper when I listen to them on Be A Man, Yaar.
I am the guy who spent years and years learning before he could teach.

And today, I'm the guy who got to speak at @harvard and had over 100 people (I kid you not) come up to me in the two days after the panel about how my work and conversations have moved them and meant something to them.

Getting emotional now. The only thing missing at this moment is my father's excited LinkedIn post about how proud he is of his son. But I hope to now be the father my daughter can be proud of too and continue living up to my mother's name ❤️

PS. Thank you to my dearest wife Daisy who pushed me to go for this event though it would mean missing our wedding anniversary for the first time in 11 years and a Valentine's Day for the first time in 19 years!!

29th Edition of NITI Aayog’s In-House Lecture Series

The NITI Frontier Tech Hub organised the 29th edition of NITI Aayog’s In-House Lecture Series on “Technology in Governance” on 20 January 2026.

Mr. Aditya Natraj, CEO, Piramal Foundation, shared insights on how digital public infrastructure, AI-enabled tools and system-level thinking are strengthening public service delivery and advancing data-driven governance. He highlighted scalable case studies such as SachivG and DigiVritti that demonstrate real-world impact.

Ms. Debjani Ghosh, Distinguished Fellow, NITI Aayog, underscored the transition from digitisation to intelligence-led governance, emphasising the importance of sovereign, interoperable and open digital systems, while also addressing emerging challenges related to cybersecurity and workforce transformation.

Shri Suman Bery, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog, delivered the closing address, outlining NITI Aayog’s role in shaping India’s long-term digital transformation and enhancing public value through technology-enabled governance.

The train started now. Responsible executives can help me to understand what kind of empathy framework they apply especially a train running without a pantry. Special trains run late,this should be accepted by every traveller silently, is it the expectation?
