India-China face-off reportedly took place in late July, when patrolling parties came face-to-face in the Taksing area of Arunachal Pradesh.

❗️The incident reportedly occurred around 2.5 km inside the LAC. The usual banner protocol was followed, with both sides asserting that they were operating in their respective areas, following which the Chinese patrol pulled back.

❗️However, it is learnt that Chinese troops returned in early August and set up 2-3 tents in the area. The Army is yet to respond to queries regarding the incident.

Gen Vaidya was a war hero. He got the Maha Vir Chakra twice – for his gallantry in Battle of Chawinda during the 1965 India-Pakistan war and in the famous Battle of Basantar during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

Let Ukraine not think it is a super power that can kick India around. We had gone out of our way to be nice to Ukraine and see what we get!
