One of the biggest lessons I've learned about scaling a business is that growth doesn't come from doing more yourself. It comes from building a strong management team. Give people ownership, develop them into great leaders, and your company will grow with them.
One wrong hire can damage the entire team.
The culture you spent years building can be ruined faster than you think.
Stay close to your team. Communicate often.

Today it felt like a breakup.
A teammate is leaving, and although I always say, “We’re not a family - we’re a professional sports team,”
the truth is, somewhere along the way, they became like family.
It’s one of the hardest parts of building something together - letting go.
Still crazy to me how I’m not glued to WhatsApp & email anymore, even with so many projects and open tickets. A year ago I was handling all client communications myself. Now my team picks things up so fast. So grateful for them, my coaches & everyone who helped me get here 🙏

Now it’s getting real. We're preparing a bigger, well-trained talent pool to support even more NL teams 🚀

It's not easy getting my head around hiring our first HR team member. It’s always been me handling all the HR stuff, and now I’m about to hand it off to someone who’ll actually get a salary from the company. Damn... wasn’t an easy decision, I swear. Haha 😅😂
Fonterra's marketing team reached out on Friday for a simple T&C page for a marketing campaign. The twist? TV & radio paper ads go live Monday. They asked for something simple, but I think my team took it a bit too seriously.
