Md Hidayatullah was Chief Justice of India, Vice President of India, and twice acting President.
Nobody else in Indian history has worn all three hats.
But the wildest part of the story isn't even his own r├йsum├й.
It's who's sitting in his family tree. ЁЯз╡

SAVE THIS WATER REMEDY. YOU MAY NEED THIS LATER!!!
1. If you drink moringa water for just 2 weeks, it will unclog fatty liver deposits and supercharge your detox enzymes.
2. If you drink cinnamon water for just 2 weeks, it will melt visceral belly fat by improving insulin sensitivity at the root.
3. If you drink ginger-lemon water every morning for 14 days, it will flush mucus from your gut and reset stomach acid.
4. If you drink cumin-seed water for 2 weeks, it will sweep out trapped gas pockets and shrink bloating dramatically.
5. If you drink clove-infused water daily for 10 days, it will paralyze hidden parasites and push them out naturally.

Nokia could have invented the iPhone. Three years before Apple did, a Nokia engineer walked into a meeting in Finland with a working prototype: a touchscreen phone with full internet access. Management killed it. The device looked too expensive and too risky to sell. The same year, Nokia also rejected a proposal for an online app store. Apple would launch the same idea four years later.
In 2007, Nokia controlled 40% of the world's mobile phone market and was worth more than $150 billion. By 2013, it had sold its phone business to Microsoft for $7.2 billion. The company that defined the cell phone became irrelevant in less time than it takes most kids to finish high school.
In 2016, two professors from INSEAD and Aalto University spent years interviewing 76 Nokia executives, engineers, and consultants for a research paper. Their conclusion: nobody at the company could have an uncomfortable conversation.
Senior leaders were described as "extremely temperamental." One consultant remembered then-CEO Jorma Ollila shouting at people "at the top of his lungs" in front of fifteen other vice presidents. Middle managers learned the rules fast. Bad news got you fired, so they stopped delivering it.
The engineers knew Nokia's operating system could not compete with what Apple was building for the iPhone. One design team submitted 500 separate proposals to fix it between 2001 and 2009. Not a single one got approved. When a middle manager once suggested that a colleague push back against a top executive, the colleague refused. He "didn't have the courage; he had a family and small children."
The top managers were also afraid, just of different things. They worried about looking weak to investors. So they publicly defended the old operating system while privately knowing it was dying. The middle managers heard the demand for optimism and supplied it. For four years, the people who knew the company was sinking could not get that message to the people who could do something about it.
Researchers call this shoot-the-messenger culture. It shows up in cockpit recordings before plane crashes, in hospital records before preventable deaths, and in the investigations of the 2008 financial crisis. The cost of avoiding a difficult conversation is always paid later, with interest.
Nokia's case is unusual because the math is so clean: the silence cost roughly $143 billion in market value and an entire company. The discomfort would have cost a few bad meetings.
#WATCH | Patna, Bihar: On laying the foundation stone of the multi-building complex of Patna High Court, CJI Surya Kant says, "... Justice is delivered by human beings and not machines, and courts can be high-pressure environments taking a toll on all stakeholders alike. Integrating healthcare facilities within the core complex, we acknowledge that well-being is not a failure of justice... Bihar's justice has never been understood as a matter of rule alone, but as a little moral idea shaped by empathy, responsibility, and social conjecture... As we strengthen these foundations, we must remember that we are doing it for the future..."
See Sup Crt judgement:
Para-12 of Ravi Kapur vs State of Rajasthan (2012) 9 SCC 284.
It clearly says, speed is NOT ALWAYS determinative of rash & negligent driving. Reckless driving is possible even in slow driving. Concept of "res ipsa loquitur" was made applicable in cri. case.
prove beyond reasonable doubt that the car was being driven at a high speed, not enough evidence that it was a rash or negligent act.
Very dubious judgement given the mechanical inspection report.

FAQs on Rabies:
1. Once developed, rabies is 100% fatal.
2. Which animals can transmit it: Any warm-blooded animal. Dogs are the most common source. But cats, monkeys, bats, camels, and even pigs can also transmit it.
3. Mode of transmission: Bite; lick on broken skin or mucosa (like eyes, nose, or mouth); scratches if the claws are contaminated with saliva; or saliva splashing into the eyes or mouth.
4. Incubation: Rabies symptoms usually appear in 1 to 3 months but can show up as early as a few days or as late as a year, depending on the bite site and virus load. Once symptoms start, it's too late.
5. What to do immediately after a bite, scratch, or lick: Wash the wound with soap and running water for 15 minutes. Then apply an antiseptic like betadine. This step alone can greatly reduce the chance of infection.
6. When to see a doctor: As soon as possible.
7. What if the animal is vaccinated: It doesn't matter. Vaccination is good and reduces the risk but doesnтАЩt eliminate it completely, especially when pet vaccination in India is not uniformly regulated
8. Vaccination, immunoglobulin, or both: For academic interest only :
Category I (licks on intact skin, animal sniffing, contact without bite/scratch) generally requires nothing except washing.
Category II (nibbling, minor scratches without bleeding) requires vaccination.
Category III (deep bites, multiple wounds, licking on broken skin, or bites on head/face/genitals) requires both vaccination and immunoglobulin.
BUT YOU DONтАЩT DECIDE WHICH CATEGORY YOU FALL UNDER OR WHAT TREATMENT YOU NEED. EVEN CATEGORY I EXPOSURE SHOULD BE SHOWN TO A DOCTOR. LET YOUR DOCTOR, AND NOT YOU, DECIDE WHATтАЩS BEST FOR YOU.
9. Specially for parents: Kids may downplay licks and minor scratches as harmless. So, educate them. Explain the risks and emphasize that they should never hide any contact with dogs from you.
@sanjayuvacha Sir, these days parading of limping accused, after any crime, has become routine, with everyone knowing that the accused has suffered either torture or beating at the hands of police. Isn't that illegal, per se, whatever be the crime?? @advsanjoy@gautambhatia88
@Shuk_law_ ji, please go through a book, Supreme Whispers, authored by Abhinav Chandrachud. Majority of the book is based on facts presented by anonymous retd. judges.
The judges tend to remain anonymous when doling out facts about batchmates or seniors.
@sanjayuvacha
Almost covered 1/4th of the so called courageous work of our investigative journalist on DYC. Every second statement somehow draws its source from retired SC judges who chose to be anonymous. Pretty courageous judges I must say and pretty courageous work so far at least. xP
Method for showing original evidence to Supreme Court. Supreme Courts, all over world, refuse to see an evidence which is not shown to courts below. But there may be exceptions.
A pleasant Memory.
Year 1990.
I was practising in Gujarat High Court. I had gained a reputation that I could take a case which may be considered hopeless by other lawyers.
A man had lost his case in Gujarat High Court. Two years had passed, He has shown his case to over 50 lawyers . None gave him hope.
When I looked in his papers, I found an old photograph which was taken in preindependance time.
I told him that he may get relief if we show this photograph to the Supreme Court of India.
I came to argue his case and showed this photograph to the Supreme Court.
He got relief from the Supreme Court and then I decided to shift to practise in the Supreme Court.
I had learned a method of showing the Original Evidence to Supreme Court (even if it may not have been produced in any courts below) from the biography titled тАЬCourtroomтАЭ of Romanian American Criminal Defense lawyer Samuel Leibowitz who died in 1978.
This book narrated this method.
The bench which granted relief to my client was Hon'ble Justice M.N. Venkatchalliah (as he than was) and Hon'ble Justice P. B. Sawant in then Court No.6)
