The incident @ajeetbharti ji talked about today is true.
The RSS chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat ji did say, “Humne Hinduo ko bachane ka theka thode le rakha hai” while responding to his question about atrocities against Hindus in West Bengal. I was also present there.

But here is the full context : Mohan Bhagwat ji was referring to an incident from the time of Guruji.
During Guruji’s time, some people approached him and complained that a few miscreants had attacked them and misbehaved with women in their locality. They requested protection.
Guruji asked them, “How many attackers were there?”
They replied, “Two or three.”
He then asked, “And how many of you are there?”
They said, “We are many families.”
To this, Guruji responded, “Humne theka nahi le rakha hai.”
He further explained that the Sangh does not create goons in its shakhas to fight on someone’s behalf. If you are greater in number, unite and teach them a lesson yourselves. Why depend on outsiders?

This story is well known in RSS circles. It is narrated to convey a clear message: do not become dependent on others for protection. Unite as a society and stand together...
The very concept of a Shakha is to unite Hindus across all sections of society. If a mohalla stands united against any intruder, that unity itself reflects the spirit of a shakha...

So it's not that RSS chose to abandon Hindus, they want them to unite and fight back but when someone is in real trouble, RSS always helps them, don't leave them on their own.
But before helping, they want them to encourage them to gather the strength and fight back on their own.

Same things as our elders do while raising kids..

मैं सन्न रह गया। सोचा पिता की आयु के हैं, तार्किक बातें करूँगा और चिल्लाएँगे। मैं बैठ गया। मेरा मन खिन्न हो गया। ये हैं मोहन भागवत।

2021 के आसपास की बात है। संघ ने 200+ यूट्यूब पत्रकारों/इन्फ्लूएंसर्स को बुलाया था। दिल्ली के राजघाट के पास। मोहन भागवत थे। खुला प्रश्नोत्तर सत्र रखा था। किसी भी RW यूट्यूब पत्रकार से पूछ लीजिए कि मैं सच बोल रहा हूँ या झूठ।

DU में जो रुचि तिवारी के साथ हुआ, वह वामपंथी-अम्बेडकरवादी छात्र पार्टियों के कारण हुआ, ऐसा मानना मूर्खता है। घटना का सतही कारण तो अवश्य ही ऐसी पार्टियों के छात्र नेता हैं, पर जड़ में क्या है?

जड़ में जातिवादी तुष्टिकरण और ब्राह्मण घृणा के नारों का सामान्यीकरण है। मोदी सरकार की उपलब्धि यही है कि अब भीमवादी खुल्ला घूम रहे हैं। कल तक जो दीवारों पर ‘ब्राह्मण बनिया कैम्पस छोड़ो’, ‘देयर विल बी ब्लड’, ‘ब्राह्मणों भारत छोड़ो’ लिखा करते थे, अब वह ‘ब्राह्मणों की कब्र खुदेगी’ के नारों से होते हुए, अब एक लड़की के कपड़े फाड़ने पर आ चुकी है क्योंकि उसका नाम ‘तिवारी’ है।

वामपंथी पार्टियों को अब हम नहीं कोसते क्योंकि हम जानते हैं उन्हें सशक्त करने वाले लोग सत्ता में हैं, जो ‘बँटेंगे तो कटेंगे’ का नकली नारा रैलियों में लगा कर एकता का स्वांग रचते हैं।

जेएनयू में हाल ही में कुछ छात्रों को रस्टिकेट किया गया, जो एक अच्छा उदाहरण है, पर आगे क्या? कैम्पस में एक छात्रा के कपड़े फाड़ने के प्रयास करने वाले को जेल हो��ी चाहिए।

आज रुचि तिवारी के पास कौन से विधिक विकल्प हैं? क्या वह कोर्ट में ‘जातिवादी घृणा’ का आधार बना सकती है? नहीं, क्योंकि वो जिस समाज से आती है, उसके पास ऐसा कोई विकल्प नहीं। उसे कोर्ट में यह बताना होगा कि उस पर हुए अपराध की जड़ में जातिवादी घृणा है, पर प्रतिवादी वकील कहेगा कि ब्राह्मणों के साथ कैसा जातिवाद?

यह विषाक्त वातावरण नरेन्द्र मोदी और भाजपा की ही देन है। नाम उसी का लिया जाएगा जो ई-रिक्शा से वंदे भारत तक हर उपलब्धि का क्रेडिट लेता है। यह क्रेडिट भी मोदी जी का ही है।

इंडिगो ने जब अपने बेड़े में 100 हवाई जहाज जोड़े तब Spicejet बीमार हो गयी.

इंडिगो ने जब अपने बेड़े में 200 हवाई जहाज जोड़े Jet Airways ICU में चली गयी.

इंडिगो ने जब अपने बेड़े में 300 हवाई जहाज जोड़े Go Fast एयरलाइन इतिहास बन गयी.

इस तरह इंडिगो ने एविएशन मार्केट पर मोनोपोली स्थापित कर ली. 100 यात्रियों में से 63 यात्री इंडिगो में सफर करते हैं.

On the night of May 20, 2025, a little girl in a faded pink frock fell asleep on her mother’s lap at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. Her parents, simple people from Solapur, had come to Mumbai for her father’s treatment. They were exhausted. Just for a moment, the mother closed her eyes.

When she opened them, her daughter was gone.

Six months.
Six months of walking from police station to police station.
Six months of showing the same crumpled photograph to strangers on trains, in slums, in orphanages.
Six months of the father not sleeping, the mother not eating, both of them growing hollow-eyed, whispering the same name into the dark: “Aarohi��� Aarohi…”

In Varanasi, a thousand kilometres away, a tiny girl with no memory of her real name was learning to call herself “Kashi.” She had been found crying near the railway tracks in June, barefoot and terrified. The orphanage gave her food, a bed, and a new name. She smiled easily, because children always do, but sometimes at night she clutched the edge of her blanket and asked for “Aai” — Marathi for mother — and no one understood.

Back in Mumbai, the police refused to close the file. They printed posters with Aarohi’s face, stuck them on every platform from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Bhusawal to Varanasi Cantt. They ran newspaper ads, knocked on doors, begged journalists for help. Six months is a long time for hope to stay alive, but some officers carried her photograph in their shirt pockets like it was their own child.

Then, on November 13, a local reporter in Varanasi saw the poster. Something clicked. He had seen a girl who spoke Marathi words in her sleep. He made a phone call.

The next morning, a Mumbai Police inspector sat in front of a laptop in Varanasi and opened a video call. On the screen appeared a little girl in a pink frock — the same colour she was wearing the day she vanished. The mother, standing behind the officer in Mumbai, saw her daughter and collapsed without a sound. The father just kept repeating, “That’s my Aarohi… that’s my baby…”

They flew her back on Children’s Day — November 14.

When the plane landed, the entire Mumbai Crime Branch was waiting. They had bought her balloons and a new frock, sky blue this time. But the moment the little girl stepped out and saw the sea of khaki uniforms, she did something no one expected.

She ran.

Not away — toward them.

Tiny legs pumping, arms outstretched, she threw herself at the nearest officer and laughed — the purest, clearest laugh that had been missing from the world for half a year. The officer, a tough man who had seen everything, felt his eyes burn. He lifted her high, and she wrapped her arms around his neck like he was family.

Her parents were crying too hard to walk. So the policemen carried their daughter to them.

The mother touched her face again and again, as if checking she was real. The father fell to his knees and pressed his forehead to his child’s tiny feet, sobbing words no one could understand except God.

And the little girl? She just kept smiling, looking from her parents to the officers and back again, completely unaware that she had turned an entire police station into a sobbing, laughing, praying family.

Six months of darkness ended in one hug.

Aarohi is home now.
The kidnapper is still out there, but that is tomorrow’s fight.

Today, a mother is singing lullabies again.
Today, a father is smiling in his sleep.
And somewhere in Mumbai, there are policemen who will never forget the weight of a four-year-old girl in their arms — the weight of an entire life returned.

Sometimes the uniform doesn’t just catch thieves.
Sometimes it carries lost children all the way back to their mothers’ hearts.
