On July 24 & 25, 2025, Goa became the stage for a dynamic two-day orientation that celebrated collaboration, education, and the power of language.

Hosted by Institut Français en Inde, the event brought together 40+ French language teachers and Principals from SCERT schools across the state. Together, they explored how French can create new opportunities in government classrooms, shaping brighter futures for students and enriching their academic journeys.

This initiative was made possible thanks to the invaluable support of Mr. Shailesh R. Zingde, Director of Education; Ms. Meghana Shetgaonkar, Director, SCERT Goa; and Mr. Gopal Pradhan, SCERT Goa.

A special thanks to Alliance Française de Panjim for leading a thought-provoking workshop that further equipped teachers with new ideas and strategies.

Opening doors to culture, confidence and connection, one French lesson at a time. In Chandigarh, the French for All, French for a Better Future programme officially launched with the support of the Directorate of School Education Haryana.

60 passionate teachers from across the state have stepped forward to learn French and will soon bring the language to life in selected pilot schools.

This is more than a language training. It is the beginning of a movement where education becomes a bridge between cultures. Félicitations to all participants, and thank you to the DSE for championing this initiative. 🇮🇳🇫🇷

📚 The French Institute in India, in partnership with Christ University, has launched the 10th edition of the International Training for Teachers of French in Bangalore from 26–30 May 2025!

Over 100 French language teachers from India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Nepal are attending this intensive 30-hour program led by expert trainers from top French institutions like Alliance Française de Paris, CAVILAM, CIEL de Brest, and Université de Besançon.

Workshops explore innovative teaching methods—from integrating AI and drama in the classroom to boosting phonological and creative writing skills.

The opening ceremony was graced by Mr. Grégor Trumel, Counsellor for Education, Science & Culture (Embassy of France), and Dr. Fr Joseph C C, Vice-Chancellor of Christ University.

🎓 The largest on-site training of its kind in India, strengthening French teaching and paving the way for more Indian students in France by 2030!
