एक बार सनातनी राज्य में चोरी हो गया,चोरों को पकड़ कर राजा के सामने न्याय के लिए प्रस्तुत किया गया।

राजा ने चारों चोरी को मृत्युदंड दिए, तीनों चोरों को फांसी लग गई,जब चौथे सरदार की बारी आई,तो उसने एक संतरी को बुलाया और कहा कि "मेरे पास सोना पैदा करने वाले बीज है,उसकी बुवाई कटाई का ज्ञान है,यदि मै मर गया तो ये ज्ञान विलुप्त हो जाएगा।
संतरी, संतरे के नशे में था,वो भाग मंत्री जी से कहा कि चोर ने उसे ऐसा बताया है। मंत्री चार चिलम मार के चोर के पास गए,उससे अनुनय विनय किया लेकिन चोर ने उसे गुप्त ज्ञान नहीं दिया,बोला राजा को बताएगा।

हारकर मंत्री ने राजा के समक्ष चोर को प्रस्तुत किया,राजा ने पूछा कि भाई राज बताओ ? चोर बोला "अभी नहीं राजा जी,मै आज शाम को बीज ले कर आऊंगा,और आपको दिखाऊंगा भी सिखाऊंगा भी।"

शाम की शमा की रोशनी में राजा अफीम की मोटी खुराक के साथ,उत्तेजित बैठा था,तभी चोर एक अजीब तरह का बीज ले कर दरबार में प्रस्तुत हुआ।
उसने राजा से कहा "इस सोना के बीज को वही छू सकता है जिसने कभी अपने सम्पूर्ण जीवन में कोई भी पाप न किया हो" संपूर्ण दरबार स्तब्ध क्योंकि पाप तो सभी ने किया था,छोटा हो या बड़ा,पूरी दरबार में सन्नाटा था।
फिर चोर साधु का स्वांग धर के राजा को उपदेश देना शुरू करता है "कि यह समस्त धरती पापमय है,सभी दोषी है,इसलिए उसका न्याय करने का कोई अधिकार नहीं है,दरबार के पापीयों के समक्ष उसका पाप नगण्य है,इसलिए उसे माफ किया जाए , ताकि वो सनातनी राष्ट्र का का सारा माल साफ कर जाए "।
राजा ने ऊंघते हुए फैसला सुनाया " इस चोर को हमारे सनातनी राष्ट्र का नया प्रधानमंत्री नियुक्त किया जाता है।"
