Lord, strengthen the hearts within our marriages. Help us to speak with kindness, listen with humility, and choose love even when it is difficult. Remind us that marriage is not about perfection, but two imperfect people learning to reflect Your grace every day. Amen.
Father, thank You for who You created my spouse to be, fearfully and wonderfully made. In moments of tension, help me remember that they were created in Your image. Teach me to love them with grace, patience, and unconditional love.
Dear Heavenly Father, help me never to forget that my spouse and I are a team. Show me how I can partner with them in their dreams and goals, cheer them on in their success, and support them through setbacks. Amen.
Men: Lead your family in prayer. Not just at mealtime. But in everyday life decisions. In thankfulness. In humility.
Let your family see you kneeling in prayer as you go to the Heavenly Father on their behalf.
God says many wonderful things about you, things such as: You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Ps 139:14). You are loved unconditionally (Jer. 31:3) and accepted (John 6:37). You are precious and honored in His sight (Isa. 43:4).
Father, we pray that you show us how to be appreciative of the efforts of each other. Let us not end the day without telling each other how much we appreciate what they do and who they are to us.
Amen.
Heavenly Father, teach us to trust you and the work you are doing in our lives and marriage. Even when we don’t understand your plan or what you’re doing, let us rest in your promises. You love us and want what’s best for us. Amen
We all say things we regret, but silence doesn’t heal what’s been hurt. Owning our words and seeking forgiveness speaks louder than pretending they were never said.
Dear Heavenly Father, help me notice the small acts of love my spouse shows me each day. Give me a heart of thankfulness for the little things and help me acknowledge those to my spouse. Amen.
