Developing hamstring strength at long muscle lengths and building evenly strong hamstrings will give athletes a better chance of staying fit this season.
Here’s 2 exercises that test both variables, each exercise is safe, time efficient and gives accruate results.
@KashLipka getting assessed for the 2nd time post ACL op.
Good to see that all her scores have improved, including jump height, asymmetry, eccentric and isometric hamstring strength.
Good luck with the rest of your rehab!
Kyle Cameron getting assessed earlier this week so he can return to @TUFC1899 in the best possible physical condition ready for next season.
@forcedecks
Great work Kash! The hard work is paying off! Doubling your eccentric strength is no small achievement.
You’ve made huge progress that you and your S&C coach should be very proud of. We’re delighted to be able to help inform the next phase of your rehab 💪🏼
Using the @HamstringSolo_ to test @KashLipka (post ACL).
The results of the profiling will dictate the rehab programme she follows in order to reach match fitness.
All the best - see you soon to re test.

Use this drill to improve your acceleration and sprint mechanics. This drill encourages us to stay in a forward lean position (similar to when we accelerate), forcing us to engage the core and allowing us to achieve strong arm and knee drives.

⚽💪🏋️♂️| It was great having former player @ajkfitness_ back at McDiarmid last week with @PrecisionTWM to work with the first-team squad.
The purpose of the visit was for Alex to design a programme allowing our players to reach peak performance and reduce their risk of injury.
It’s a bitter pill to swallow and it hurts right to the core, I didn’t get the decision yesterday in the European Union finals against the Olympic silver medalist and the current world champion from France,European Union silver for me on this occasion. Dust myself off nd go again
These are some great visuals for showing what matters when it comes to being able to change direction quickly.

@JasonPayne8@ThunderRugby Hi Jason. Would insight on the hamstring strength and durability of your squad help support your conditioning work? We’d love to help out a local team.
Increase your physical capability to slow down and change direction.
Jumping from 2 legs and absorbing the force on 1 leg is a good way to overload the eccentric movement you use to slow down when preparing to change direction.
Get in and get out, fast.
