Naib Risaldar Varinder Singh of the Indian Army, 74 Armoured Regiment belonging to Haryana, made the supreme sacrifice while deployed at 16000ft at Leh Ladakh . While giving his life was not enough, his family made an even bigger sacrifice; his wife,though overwhelmed with grief, she donated five of his organs- lungs,both kidneys,cornea,liver . Even in death, he gave new life to six people. His organs were retrieved at the Command Hospital Chandigarh. A special salute 🫡🫡🫡 to his wife, Veer Nari Kusum, for her act of great sacrifice. Ladies and gentlemen, that's the Indian Army for you. Always remember, it's not just a paid job but a way of life- a way that always prioritises the end, which is the ease,comfort,welfare, and security of our nation selflessly.
