@KinkyDribbler@CatSmithMP 3/3 The problem with that is what one person would deem as being a post/comment promoting the quarry, another may deem as someone asking a legitimate question. Things are not perfect, but hopefully, we will get there soon.
We are so pleased to be supporting Collette as she stands to become a Wyre Borough Councillor in the forthcoming election. As an Independent Candidate, she will not be subjected to any party whip and will fight on your behalf to #StopPressallQuarry. Please lend her your VOTE!
@KinkyDribbler@CatSmithMP 2/3 or those who have joined the group deliberately to cause trouble. Posts and Comments deemed to be promoting the quarry and inert waste infill would be removed, as the group is clearly designed for people that are against the proposed application.
@ChrisGPackham the answer is simple, it is the reason why someone would want to destroy our beautiful Countryside to build a Sand/Gravel Quarry and Inert Waste Infill Site. It's called GREED!
Genuine question . Could someone please post a link to a clear explanation of why the energy price caps are being increased . Because superficially it seems that itโs providing the suppliers with colossal profits and a counterproductive dependence on dirtier fossil fuels . Thanks
@KinkyDribbler@CatSmithMP I am a moderator on the Group Page but most of my time is spent on the Public Pages and collecting data regarding the planned quarry site. I don't believe in shutting down open debate, as long as it remains civil, and that the debate hasn't been designed to cause divisions!
@KinkyDribbler@CatSmithMP To answer the last part first, I personally don't know if the candidate funded them herself, or if they were donated. However, all candidates' campaign spending and donations must be recorded and submitted to the Electoral Commission!
This photo was sent to us by a lady who lives close to the planned quarry site. Her garden is used as a release site by Hedgehog Rescue Blackpool! @WildlifeTrusts
@KinkyDribbler@CatSmithMP We are pleased to have the support of our local MP, in the same way, we would no matter which political party they represented. Asking residents to put political party alliances to one side and to vote for an Independent Candidate is the best way to unite them, not divide them!
Although our public social media pages have been quiet lately, a great deal has been going on behind the scenes! Keep an eye open for what is coming next in our battle to ...#StopPreesallQuarry
We have been sent some amazing photos of birds that have been taken on, or in the vicinity of the planned Sand and Gravel Quarry, and Inert Waste Infill. How can we dare risk losing these beautiful creatures from our local ecosystem forever? @Natures_Voice@BBCSpringwatch

People question why local residents campaign against having waste infills on their doorstep. In this day and age, there is no reason apart from corporate greed that anything should be produced that can not be repurposed or 100% recyclable! @wyrecouncil@LancashireCC

One of these lorries heading in/out of Preesall along this road every 10 minutes - Now, add pedestrians (including children heading to/from school), cycles, and horse riders into the mix. What will be the end result?
