Something to be proud of.
Yahoo Finance recently published a ranking of the biggest AI-related stock market winners in Europe in 2026. For both $SIVE (ranked #1) and $SOI (ranked #2), I was the first to publicly present the investment thesis on Substack.
Since my article on $SIVE on March 11, 2026 (and first mentioned on X in early December 2025), the stock has risen from SEK 3.90 to SEK 81.30 today, a return of approximately +1,985%. At its peak, it reached SEK 100, representing a gain of +2,464% from the time of publication.
Since my article on $SOI on January 2, 2026, the stock has increased from €25 to €150 today, a gain of +500%. It previously reached a high of €200, corresponding to a peak return of +700%.
My goal has never been to predict the perfect entry or exit. My only claim is that I published these theses very early. Many of you have probably made more money on these stocks than I did myself, and I am completely fine with that. I am proud of you.
What I provide is the input: the research, the analysis, and the introduction to what I believe is an attractive opportunity, free of charge. The decision of when to buy or sell is up to each individual investor. Thats why I don’t think it makes much sense to criticize someone who spends a significant amount of time researching companies and sharing that work publicly, simply because he may have sold too early later on.
I’m often asked how I find companies like these. To answer that, I’d like to use a quote inspired by Rick Rubin:
“I have no technical ability, and I know nothing about trading.
I know what I like and what I don’t like. And I am decisive about what I like and what I don’t like.”
— adapted from Rick Rubin
Something similar applies to investing for me. I have a great deal of confidence in my taste, my curiosity, and my ability to recognize interesting developments early. For me, it’s not only about what I find interesting, but also when I find it interesting.
Most great winners look obvious in hindsight. The real edge often comes from recognizing a trend, a company, or an opportunity before it becomes obvious to everyone else. That combination of selection and timing has proven extremely valuable in my investing journey.
