This is the real test. The ability to push through the boredom of monotony and the monotony of boredom. Apply all the hacks in the world, but without patience, it's impossible to pull through.
Impatient in action. Patient in result.
There are so many parallels between fitness and everything else in life.
I'm almost halfway through my 12-week transformation, and am currently facing what's called the Kanter's Law.
It states that no matter what the endeavor, EVERYTHING LOOKS LIKE A FAILURE in the middle. The start of anything - fitness, job, business, project - feels exciting. The end is sweet since we're ultimately chasing the result. But the middle is dull. It's boring. Miserable.
But obviously the body is not going to keep transforming at this rate (that would be unhealthy, and extremely worrisome if I keep dropping a kilo every week). The changes are now taking time to show, which requires me to deploy this thing called PATIENCE.
. I was carrying 73 kgs at the start, and now, at the tail end of week 5, I'm at 70kgs. The waist and overall physique are much leaner than when I started.
My goal with this 12-week transformation is clear as day - I want those abs to be visible. In the first three weeks, I saw a massive change in my body because of all the lifestyle changes I made (quitting processed sugar, eating only whole foods, etc).
If you’ve been on the fence about a new project, a new habit, or a new goal, take this as your sign.
Just start. You don’t need to have it all figured out—you just need to begin. Momentum will handle the rest.
There's such tremendous power in JUST STARTING.
I'm closing in on 100 days of my fitness journey. I've surprised myself by lasting this long, staying the course, wavering, and then getting back on track.
Before I started, I contemplated several times if I should do it, if it'll even be worth it. I'd tried many times and failed.
But I took the leap anyway. And posting it online made me accountable as well (that's only partially true, if I really didn't care I would've given up)
If you’re waiting for every star to align, you’ll be waiting forever. The real magic happens when you decide to start anyway—messy, imperfect, and full of questions.
Once we move, momentum kicks in, and we learn more from actually doing than from overthinking.
Today is Day 96. Not that I've worked out everyday. Not that I haven't cheated on food. But I've been conscious of my decisions and my choices, and I'm ridiculously proud of myself for that.
Here’s something I’ve learned the hard way: there’s no perfect time or plan to begin
While it’s sad to watch the decline of the OG Indian football league, it does not come as a surprise, given how it has faded into oblivion in recent years.

Additionally, there is no proper promotion-relegation system between the first and second division, meaning ISL clubs do not have to face the horrors of dropping to the I-league, so there’s no reason for them to care either.
Football in the 2000s was far more ENTERTAINING and AGGRESSIVE than it is today.
The entertainment and aggression started dwindling in the 2010s but #Ronaldo and #Messi more than made up for it.
Has football gotten soft?
